Repurposed

The part of this abandoned traditional Korean home that once housed a precious cow or bull has been taken over by a molly and her two kittens. The braver of the kittens didn't mind me and my camera that much. The mother tolerated me once I had slow-blinked her once or twice.

  1. I like this shot. The different textures and the lines. And the little kitty.

Ah, the slow blink. We've only cottoned on to that recently with our cats. Our tortoiseshell does it all the time, particularly to my wife. The tabby doesn't do it.

    1. It works for cats I meet on the street. My own cat just stares at me in annoyance and eventually shouts at me to get lost.

    2. Isn’t that strange. Maybe some breeds do it & sone don’t. Or maybe just some cats do it & some don’t. Ours, not much over a year old, are still developing their personalities. Or maybe it’s us still learning how to read them.
